It's been almost a year since the DMC/ Technics crew hit the road searching for a new UK Champion,
now they return scouring North and South for a young hopeful to challenge the
rest of the World in September.

Last years UK competition was one of the strongest yet with over 100 competitors battling it out
for that coveted UK Final place. This years UK final returns to it's spiritual home,
the Empire in Shepherds Bush on July 3rd.

But first it's the heats and this year we've added 3 extra heats to cater for the demand in this
high profile turntable tournament. The tour will take in 9 key cities that includes
Cardiff, London, Manchester, Glasgow and Bristol.

Last years final saw DJ Quest swoop the prize plus that coveted World Final place,
in 2nd place was our youngest finalist Blakey and in close 3rd was DJ Dare Devil

Now into its 19th year, DMC and Technics, hosts of the world’s most prestigious DJ Championship,
are currently completing 3 months worth of heats and are getting ready for the UK Final.

Once again DMC will stage the DMC/Technics UK Final at its spiritual home of the Shepherds Bush Empire, where over 2,000 die hard fanatics will meet armed with a personal opinion to cast over the
12 competing finalists.

Meanwhile, hundreds of DJ hopefuls have practised to perfect their skills, tightening that crucial 6 minute routine in an attempt to become a turntable legend like luminaries such as Cash Money,
Cutmaster Swift, Craze, A-trak, Q-Bert and Roc Raida to name just a few that cameand conquered.

This year’s eventS also include the Battle for UK Supremacy. This fast paced competition gives the contestants 90 seconds to prove themselves as the UK’s best.
