Land
of OZ replaced Spectrum on a Monday night
at Heaven nightclub and was always packed
out with people, the night would finish
w ith having to get past all the people
that were handing out flyers at the exit.
The
night was started by Ian St Paul and Paul
Oakenfold in March 1988 the then Spectrum
which was changed to Land of OZ due to bad
Publicity that the club was getting from
the Tabloids.
The night was so popular that it was a members
only club, so your memebership cards were
worth their weight in Gold.
The
first membership card never had no Photo
on it so every week would come with people
that you knew who never had membership cards
trying to bribe you with money or what ever
they had in their possesion just to get
that card of you.

were really wasting their time, nothing
was going to stop me getting in and miss
the best night of the week.
