EVERY
SUNDAY @ WOODYS IN WEST LONDON
|
AN
ECLECTIC ELECTRIC SHAKEDOWN OF ITALO-DISCO, ELECTRO
BOOGIE,
SPACED-OUT PUNK-FUNK AND FORGOTTEN PARTY CLASSICS...
CUTTING-EDGE CLUB SOUNDS
FROM ROME, KINGSTON, BERLIN AND NEW YORK...
Still
going strong, Nodisko has become THE place to
finish off the weekend in West London with its
anything-goes hot mix of cutting-edge electronic
dance, digital disco, party unclassics and naughty
re-edits. And with one of the best little soundsystems
and drinks menus in the whole of Notting Hill,
you’d be pretty foolish to turn in early.
February is residents-only month down the ‘Disko.
Be sure to catch Zak ‘Cupid’ Frost bringing everybody
that little bit closer for our VALENTINE’S LOVE-IN
on the 14th. Don’t go home alone...
March 13th heralds a return visit from Sedition
DJ’s own electro-funk wizard Carl Loben, who’ll
be spinning exclusive new underground house, forgotten
gems and much, much more. Then on the 20th, the
very talented young Geddes makes his Nodisko debut.
Co-promoter and resident behind the too-hot London
warehouse parties Mulletover (alongside SecretSundaze,
THE events of 2004), Geddes will be introducing
the West London massive to his trademark mix of
jackin’ European house and Italo disco.
Simply unmissable, we’re sure you’ll agree.
Wrapping
up our March shenanigans, on the 27th we throw
OUR BIG FAT EASTER DISKO, what’s set to be our
biggest little knees-up of the year so far. Seeing
as it’s Easter Sunday, we’re throwing the whole
venue open ‘til 3am. With the Nodisko DJs + guests
runnin’ tings downstairs, up top we’ll be joined
by
super-special co-hosts to be announced very soon...
Until then, big love
and thanks from the Nodisko Crew x
with
resident DJs on the beat:
ZAK FROST (deepblue
/ Trans Europe Express)

What
the press have said about Nodisko...
|
For music lovers it’s simply the real deal, which
is why in its first six months the club has staged
a quiet revolution... Nodisko is setting the dancefloor
alight!’ - Time
Out, July 2004
The guys are on a quest
to feed those starving
Notting Hill kids who’ve been left with only Latino,
deep house and jazz to feed off... This is sure
to get those Headman vinyl spotters in a tizz
and those Portobello princesses right sweaty.’
- i-D, February 2004
‘You could do far worse than home in on the small
but select Nodisko, a night that seems innocuous
enough from the outside but is actually quite
seminal in reviving the Italo-disco
sound that dominated European dancefloors in the
early 1980s’ - The
Guide, January 2004
‘Causing quite a stir in
the smoke... Residents Zak Frost and Magic Jase
play to slay the masses. Quite irresistible.’
- voted one of the Top 10 Nights In The Land,
DJ Mag, February
2004
A roughly-hewn soundtracks drawing on Europe’s
cool and yet-to-be-hyped-to-death scenes –
like Italo disco and Scando house – prevails.’
- Metro, December
2003
