Kinky Malinki Reveal New Look for 2007

It's been a busy few months for Kinky Malinki. For those that don't yet know, the guys are a long-running London based session that extends the length and breadth of the UK. There's a brand new residency secured at Turnmills, which all began after the huge eighth birthday party in October and the owners were so impressed with the party that they offered the deal there and then to host regular parties throughout 2007. It represents a new musical direction for the club who will be utilising guests who have impressed them over time, helping to embody the kinky sound but also to develop it and evolve it into something new - from deeper techy sounds through to more electro and slightly darker excursions.
But that's not all. Recently the guys also celebrated recruiting their first ever female resident, Miss Mindy, who won the coveted Company Magazine DJ competition and is now scheduled to play gigs all through the year including Dubai in February for the legendary Zinc club.
And right now Kinky Malinki is unveiling its new look, focusing on the more raunchy and, well, kinky side of the club's history, as you can see from the attached photos from a recent shoot in London. It's an ever-evolving party that seeks to embrace the very best of house music infused with a naughty edge and the latest images fully represents this.
"We just wanted to have a bit of fun," Paul Crane, the club's director explains, "but at the same time experiment too. We're lucky to know some beautiful women so we thought to give it a go. Get them in a studio and see what happened. I am really pleased with the results. We got some really nice and interesting clothes for the girls to wear and I think they have done fantastic. Overall we thought it was time for a change, and there's so much going on here right now that this seemed like the perfect time for us."
